I do as you did, I keep working at reduced capacity pacing myself to avoid getting overtired. Any orders that come in during this time are pushed a week away if possible. If not, I enlist the help of family and colleagues. If I suspect that my illness will prevent me from working at all, I refer orders to colleagues. Thankfully this hasn't been a big problem over the years. Working while sick is no fun, but when you’re a solo business owner it will eventually happen.
